Can I share a receipt without putting it on a public page?

Yes. Download a free PNG or Story image and send that file directly. Free image exports stay in your browser. Paid receipts are stored privately by default; creating a public receipt link is optional.

What changes when I publish a link?

Publishing makes the receipt's words and any included screenshot or supporting link available to anyone who receives the public link. Free receipts are uploaded when published. Existing published receipts keep their links. Noindex is a search instruction, not an access control.

What should I check before sharing?

Review names, faces, phone numbers, notifications, and private messages in screenshots. Cover details before sharing and inspect the exported image yourself. Automated text redaction does not detect everything and does not inspect private details inside screenshots.

Which link must stay private?

Keep the private management link to yourself. Someone who has it can access the receipt and change publication settings. Share only the public link you intentionally created, never a management or payment-recovery link.

Can I take a receipt back after sharing?

An owner can turn off a new receipt's public link from the management page. That does not erase files already downloaded, forwarded, or cached by messaging services. Send only content you have permission to share, even in a small group chat.
